I missed posting a picture on Instagram yesterday but look for the recap tomorrow!! Here is how I created the card!
Hey CSM!!! How is everyone? I hope your December has not been too crazy for you all! So this layout was a fluke really... my dad gave me a ton of photos from my childhood. These two popped out at me. My dress from 8th grade prom was black and white and my 12th grade prom dress was light cream. But the Sr. prom pic was far enough away that I thought black, white and red would just work. My date was wearing a white tux so that sealed the color choices for me.
So I have been all about Two Peas this past few weeks... and I really got inspired by a video from the Seeing Double series. As I was watching I really knew excatly which pictures I wanted to use and everything... Well you know what they say about plans!! Anyway I looked thru my pitcures and found two pictures I had posted on instagram and then printed via Walgreens and decided to use those. I am soo happy with this layout!!
Purple is by far by favorite color and I don't get to use it a lot while scrapbooking about my boys. So I was definitely excited to start looking thru my stack of purple papers and bits!! The only thing about this layout that I didn't like was I HAD to use my favorite paper ever :) ... Bird Song collection Enlightenment by Graphic 45. I even posted on Instagram about not wanting to use it... I was hoarding it I know. Listen I had 2 sheets... I used the first sheet to create my Filofax cover and this sheet I was holding on to... but it was just to prefect not to use! I used papers from: Graphic 45, My Minds Eye, Studio Calico, Sn@p, Recollection by Michaels and American Crafts. Heidi Swapp, Studio Calico, American Crafts and other bits from my stash for the embellishments! Here is the link for the TwoPeasInABucket video by Lisa Dickinson and here are pictures on my layout! See if you get inspired by it too!! I'm posting on my TwoPeas account also... Look for the post in the Gallery!!

So the December Daily craze has started again!!! I am on this bandwagon, but only in the wheel well! When The Coco Martha mentioned it to Swtdreamz03 and I at the Scrapbook expo in Sept... I was like what is that??? I didn't think about it again until Oct. And before I checked into it I just figured it was a daily calender!! So I decided that I would create a flip calender, but couldn't find exactly what I needed. So I went with a clipboard, and I am sooo happy with the outcome!!! Now I started this back in October so I would be finished by December, but it turns out that I am only on day 18 so I have some still to finish up. I am doing a daily video of all the cards... today's video was only 50secs so these are short videos! I am hoping none will be longer than 2 mins!
Halloween was so much fun this year... esp. since last year we were homeless because of Super Storm Sandy. The boys and I really got into the holiday!!! I was super happy to be able to use my passion Makeup to really get the boys into this fun time of year. Here are a few close ups of so of the layouts I have done so far!! If you have any questions or see something you want to know about let me know!!! I have been using most products I found at Michaels on sale AFTER Halloween. Recollections and My Minds Eye.
I am hoping to get finished with the Halloween stuff soon!! I want to finish up my calendar cards (my December Daily) before the first of December!!!! I have a lot of Fall pictures to scrap before Thanksgiving comes!!! MUST SCRAP EVERYDAY!!! LOL Take care everyone!!!

Want to know how I came up with this title? I didn't... Thanks to BobbysGirlForever on Instagram for helping me with this one!!! I hope I did you proud Linda. (Here is the photo on Instagram) Anywho, if you look at the layout, it is really really simple. Background, 3 pieces of paper, and I matted the photo on some regular white cardstock. Not much for layering or embellishments... but I did get a little brad happy!!! I must have like 60 brads on this layout( ok more like 18ish) then I did some paint dotting, added sequins. That cute dino... I got him at the Scrapbook Expo last year!! So glad I didn't use him before. My older guys weirdly enough don't play much with their dinos. I think I got the dino stickers when the show Dino Dan just came out. But Lord help me I really hate that show... so I don't let the boys watch it... (the acting... is not... it's more like pausing... sorry it's true) also those little mini dinos are from Michaels. That's about it for the layout... any questions or comments ask below!! Thanks for reading and Thanks for the help my Scrappy Friends!!
